Sybilla Graczyk


She was born in 1972 in Łódź.
In 1996 she graduated from the Faculty of Law and Administration of the University of Lodz, and in 2003 she completed doctoral studies in the field of consumer protection in Polish law, she dealt in particular with consumer credit. In 1995 she graduated from the International Summer Course in Economic and Commercial Law in Krakow. From September 1995 to January 1996 she studied at the University of Limburg Maastricht under the Tempus programme.

Since 2001, she has been running an individual legal office. She specializes in legal counseling in the field of business law, in particular in matters related to company law, competition law, consumer protection, intellectual property law. She serves entrepreneurs, including those belonging to capital groups with the participation of foreign entrepreneurs, as well as associations and foundations. While working in the Legal Office of Competition of AttorneyMarek Tadeusiak, she participated in the creation of Polish consumer protection law and state aid law.

Since July 2009, she has been a Member of the Supervisory Board of MakoLab S. A. based in Łódź (a company listed on the NewConnect Warsaw Stock Exchange) and holds the position of Chairman of the Supervisory Board. Thanks to that she knows practical economic issues connected with making key business decisions. Working on behalf of Programer Centrum Sp. z o. o. chairs and operates the shareholders’ meetings and general meetings of capital companies. She cooperates with Witold Sowilski (Findor Sp. z o. o. ), who specializes in the restructuring and modernization of business entities, hence the issues related to legal aspects of company restructuring are close to her.

Until mid-2016, she served companies from the Paradyż Group (Ceramika Paradyż Sp. z o. o. and Paradyż Sp. z o. o. ). Serving Sacmi Polska Sp. z o. o. she also conducts the cases of the Companies of the Sacmi Cooperativa Meccanici Imola Societa’ Cooperativa capital group, if the Polish court has a jurisdiction. Within the framework of cooperation with companies from the telecommunications sector, she conducts proceedings before the Office of Competition and Consumer Protection.

In the years 2003 – 2018 she conducted seminars, lectures and exercise classes at the University of Lodz, which concerned law for entrepreneurs and intellectual property law. She led, among others, the class entitled: „Legal instruments for company development”, „Intellectual property law, copyright and related rights”, „Management of industrial property rights in consortia with participation of scientific centres and enterprises”, „Legal aspects of starting up a business”. She participated in the Integrated Enterprise Management project. She has conducted trainings for the University of Łódź Technology Transfer Centre on several occasions, among others, classes entitled „Legal tools for intellectual property protection of research projects and knowledge transfer”.

In August 2017, she completed the ‘Train-the-trainers’ course in consumer law for small and medium-sized entrepreneurs in Brussels as part of the ‘Consumer Law Ready’ project and obtained the ‘Consumer Law Ready National Trainer’ certificate issued by BEUC The European Consumer Organization.

She cooperates with the Educational Enterprise Foundation. As part of cooperation with the Association of Polish Consumers and the Consumer Foundation, she conducts training for consumer ombudsmen, consumers and entrepreneurs. For many years he has been training, supporting with knowledge and legal counseling lawyers who give advice in the Consumer Helpline run by the Association of Polish Consumers and the Consumer Foundation on behalf of the Office of Competition and Consumer Protection.
