He was born in 1977 in Łódź.
In 2001 he graduated from the Faculty of Law and Administration at the University of Lodz, defending his master’s thesis at the Department of European Law (specialization – European economic law). From September to December 2000, he studied at the University of Lapland in Rovaniemi under the Erasmus / Socrates program.
From 2002 to 2013 he worked at Polskapresse Sp. z o.o. Press Lodz Branch (the largest press publishing house in the country, currently Polska Press Group, belonging to the Verlagsgruppe Passau), including the head of the Promotion and Development Department, marketing director and lawyer – project coordinator. He was responsible for the promotion of „Dziennik Łódzki”, „Express Ilusrowany” and the Naszemiasto.pl portal, for several years organizing the most important marketing events in Łódź and the Lodz Voivodeship.
He participated in the unification of the promotion of local and regional newspapers and weekly newspapers throughout the country, preparing the ground for the introduction of the title POLSKA the Times. He also dealt with issues related to grants, including the application, implementation and settlement of projects co-financed from European funds.
In the years 2008–2009 he was a member of the Social Consultative Council for the Promotion of the Łódź Voivodeship. In the years 2010-2013 he completed his legal training at the District Bar Council in Łódź.
Since July 2013, he has been running an individual lawyer’s office, coopering closely with attorney Sybilla Graczyk. He specializes in civil and commercial law, labor law, administrative and court-administrative proceedings, electronic commerce and personal data protection. Serving the companies BW Logistyka, Ikoma and Ikoma Wieluń 2 and MG Property, he deals with issues related to real estate, construction investments and construction law, as well as contracts with energy and utilities suppliers. For clients in the diesel oil and chemical products sector (Tedex S.A., GT-OIL sp. z o.o., NORD-CLASS sp. z o.o., Wielkopolskie Zakłady Farmaceutyczne Bio-Win S.A.), he conducts proceedings regarding selected tax issues before administrative courts and the Supreme Administrative Court.
Attorney Piotr Szargut, by advising clients and representing them, combines the professional activities of a lawyer with managerial experience, in order to provide flexible and customized solutions to the issues raised. He counsels not only on strictly legal issues but also on negotiation and marketing. He conducts trade negotiations on behalf of clients.
