During the 2004/2005 academic year, she was a Socrates Erasmus scholar at the Faculty of Law at the Universiteit Gent in Ghent, where she studied in English.
In 2006, she completed her law degree at the Faculty of Law and Administration of the University of Łódź, defending her master’s thesis at the Department of Civil Law.
In 2007, she completed a two-year postgraduate course in French law, taught in French, at the École de Droit Français de Łódź at the University of Łódźand at the University of Tours.
Between 2007 and 2011, she completed her legal training at the Łódź Bar Association, culminating in her passing the bar exam in June 2011.
In 2013, she completed a one-year Postgraduate Course in Intellectual Property Law at the Faculty of Law and Administration of the Jagiellonian University in Kraków.
In 2022, she completed a one-year Postgraduate Course in Contract Law in Consumer and Professional Transactions at the Faculty of Law and Administration of the Jagiellonian University in Kraków.
Experience
Since 2006, she has gained professional experience as a trainee, then as a trainee solicitor, and since January 2012, through her own legal practice, providing legal services to businesses, state institutions, cooperatives and individual clients in Łódź and Kraków.
She has been working with the law firm since 2025.
The Law Office of Alicja Bień was established in April 2001 and has been providing legal services to companies and other business entities for over 20 years, as well as assisting individual clients.
